Arranging an Interpreted Volunteer Induction
Volunteer coordinator (speaking English) and New adult volunteer (speaking Nepali) talk through “Arranging an Interpreted Volunteer Induction”. You interpret both ways — English into Nepali, and Nepali into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Welcome to the Liverpool community kitchen, Mr Gurung. We will arrange an interpreter for your one-off induction. Training is on 6 November at 10 am. Does that suit you?
Just bring photo ID and enclosed shoes. There are three induction tasks: food safety, safe serving, and signing in. You don't need cooking experience to start.
Volunteers come for two hours each Wednesday, after the induction. If you can't attend, please phone me the day before. Which duties interest you, kitchen preparation or the serving counter?
Thank you for telling me. You won't lift heavy sacks; another volunteer will do that. On 6 November, please arrive ten minutes early so we can sign you in.
Yes, you can ask questions at any time during the induction. Also, the kitchen will need your emergency contact. What phone number should I write for a family member?
Thank you. I've noted 0491 570 156 on your form. See you on 6 November, Mr Gurung.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The practice room on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went. How the test works
Continue with the NAATI CCL Nepali practice test and mock tests.
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Nepali dialogues · All languages
