Mr Brar, welcome to Georges River College. Jaskaran's report went home on 16 October. What would you like to talk about today?
ਮੈਡਮ, ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਈ, ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਔਖੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਝਾ ਦੇਵੇ। ਮੈਂ ਨੰਬਰ ਬਦਲਵਾਉਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ।
That's fine. This meeting will explain the report without changing the marks, and we can book an interpreter. Which subjects would you like to discuss?
ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੈ: ਮੈਥ, ਸਾਇੰਸ ਤੇ ਇੰਗਲਿਸ਼। ਮੁੰਡਾ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਨੰਬਰ ਘੱਟ ਕਿਉਂ ਆਏ, ਇਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ।

ਤਿੰਨ ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੌਣੇ ਚਾਰ ਵਜੇ ਠੀਕ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਕੰਮ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਲੈ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ। ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਲੇਟ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਦੁਭਾਸ਼ੀਆ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰੇਗਾ?
The interpreter can only wait a short time, so please phone the office if you're running late. Should Jaskaran attend too?
ਠੀਕ ਹੈ ਜੀ, ਮੈਂ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਵੀ ਆਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਝਿੜਕਾਂ ਪੈਣ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ?
Nobody will scold him. The teachers will explain each result and suggest learning support at school. Do you need anything else before the meeting?
