It's been two weeks since your breast reconstruction at Liverpool Hospital. How has your recovery been so far, Mrs. Devi?

I'll gently check the incision now. Was the drainage tube removed, and have you noticed any redness or fluid leaking from the site?

The implant feels well-positioned and the scar tissue looks normal. Do you have any numbness or tingling under your arm or around the scar?

That's common after nerve disruption during surgery; sensation usually returns within three to six months. If numbness persists beyond that, we'll investigate further.

Avoid heavy lifting for another four weeks, but you can resume driving once you have full shoulder movement without pain. I'll also refer you to physiotherapy.
