Mr Choi, tell me exactly what's been going on with your eye since yesterday morning, and when did the redness first start?
右眼好紅，仲有好多黃色分泌物，今朝一瞓醒對眼都黐埋，好難打開。
Has the left eye been affected as well, and are you experiencing any pain, itching, or blurred vision at all?
淨係右眼有事，冇乜痛，不過有啲矇查查，尤其係啱瞓醒嗰陣特別明顯。
This looks like acute infective conjunctivitis, which is usually caused by bacteria and can spread quite easily through direct contact with the eye.
咁即係會唔會傳染俾屋企人㗎？我使唔使戴個眼罩呀？
You don't need an eye patch, but please avoid touching your eyes, and don't share towels, pillowcases or makeup with anyone else at home.
咁我使唔使請假呀？我份工係喺酒樓做嘢，成日都要同啲客接觸嘅。
Yes, please stay off work until the discharge clears completely, which usually takes about five days, to avoid spreading it to your colleagues at the restaurant.
