Thanks for coming in today, Ms. Wong. You said your left eye's been red and sticky since Monday morning — can you describe it further for me?
係啊醫生，尋日朝早開始，隻左眼又紅又痕，仲成日流啲黃色嘅分泌物出嚟，早上瞓醒嗰陣仲成隻眼黐埋晒，好唔舒服。
Your eye looks inflamed with a yellow discharge, and there's no pain when I press near the eyelid. This looks like bacterial conjunctivitis, not viral.
咁會唔會傳染㗎？我屋企仲有阿媽同兩個細路仔同我一齊住，佢哋會唔會中招㗎？
Yes, it can spread through close contact or shared towels. If your family avoids sharing towels or pillows and washes hands often, the risk stays low.
