Good afternoon, Mrs Bautista. How has your nose felt since the rhinoplasty on Monday, and has the swelling started to go down at all?
Nurse, medyo namamaga pa rin po ang ilong ko at may kaunting sakit, pero mas mabuti na kaysa noong Lunes. Normal ba po ito?
That's normal at this stage. You shouldn't blow your nose for at least ten days, and please avoid wearing glasses that press on the bridge.
Naiintindihan ko po. Kailan ko po kaya pwedeng bumalik sa trabaho? Desk job lang naman po ako sa opisina.
As long as there's no infection or unusual swelling, you can return to light desk work after two weeks, but avoid heavy lifting.
Ayos po iyon. Meron po ba kayong marerekomendang cream para sa peklat, at hindi po ba ito magiging masyadong mahal?
I'd recommend a silicone scar gel, which you can get from Chemist Warehouse. Apply it twice daily once the stitches are fully healed.
Salamat po sa suggestion. Gaano po katagal karaniwang nawawala ang pasa sa mukha ko?
The bruising usually fades within about two weeks. Keep your head elevated while sleeping, and use a cold compress if it feels tender.
