School Excursion Consent Form
School Administration Officer (speaking English) and Parent (speaking Mandarin) talk through “School Excursion Consent Form”. You interpret both ways — English into Mandarin, and Mandarin into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Hello, I'm calling from Sydney Primary School about your daughter's excursion to Taronga Zoo on the 15th of March. We need your signed consent form back by Friday.
The excursion costs $25, which covers the bus and entry fee. Please also fill in the medical information section, including any allergies she has.
If she has no allergies, you can simply write 'none' in that section. Please also provide an emergency contact number we can reach on the day.
If you're experiencing financial difficulty, the school can offer a payment plan or reduce the fee through the student assistance program. Just let the office know.
If your daughter doesn't attend the excursion, she'll join another class for supervised activities at school that day, so there's no issue.
Yes, the deadline is this Friday, the 13th of March. You can drop the form at the front office or email me at the school directly.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Mandarin dialogues · All languages
