Good afternoon. Today we will go through your document checklist for the skilled visa application, so everything is ready before we lodge.
好的。我这次把护照、学位证和工作证明都带来了，你看看还缺什么材料。
Your degree needs a certified translation, and your work reference must state your duties, hours per week, and the exact dates of employment.
翻译件我可以找谁做？是不是必须要有资质的翻译，普通翻译公司行不行？
It must be done by a certified translator. Also, your English test result expires soon, so we should lodge within the next two months.
明白。无犯罪证明我还没办，国内的要多久？会不会耽误递交时间？
Police checks from overseas can take several weeks, so apply this week. We can lodge first and add that document when it arrives.
那太好了。递交以后大概多久有结果？中间我可以出国旅行吗？
Processing times vary by occupation. You can travel, but always tell me your dates, because some notices have strict reply deadlines.
好，我出行前一定先告诉你。费用方面，今天需要先付政府的申请费吗？
Not today. The government charge is paid at lodgement, and I will send you an itemised invoice before anything is due.
