Thanks for bringing Lente in today, Mr. Botha. Can you tell me exactly how many days she's had this watery diarrhoea, and did it start suddenly?
Dit het skielik gisteroggend begin, suster. Sy het nou al drie dae lank baie waterige stoelgang en wil glad nie eet nie.
Has she vomited, had a fever, or shown any blood in her stool since yesterday? Also, has she been unusually sleepy or irritable?
Nee, sy het nie oorgegee nie en sy het geen koors nie, maar ek het wel 'n bietjie bloed in haar stoelgang gesien. Sy is ook baie humeurig en wil net slaap.
Is she drinking fluids normally, or does she seem thirsty, tired, and less alert than usual? Has she urinated less than normal today?
