Mrs. van Wyk, thank you for coming in today. Our palliative care team reviewed your father's chart this morning at Calvary Health Care Bendigo.
Dankie dat u ons kom inlig het. Hoe gaan dit met my pa se pyn vandag? Ek is regtig bekommerd oor hom.
His morphine dose is now scheduled every four hours, but if his pain returns sooner than expected, we can safely increase it a little.
Sal hy dan baie vaak wees, of kan dit sy asemhaling beïnvloed? Ek wil net seker maak dis veilig vir hom.
He won't need injections yet; the oral tablets are managing his pain well, though we will keep monitoring his breathing closely each shift.

Loss of appetite is quite common at this stage of illness. We can arrange a three-day respite bed at the hospice if you need some rest.
