Before we start your divorce application, tell me how long you and your husband have been separated, and whether you have any children under eighteen.
我哋分咗開大概十四個月喇,我有一個仔,今年九歲,而家跟住我住喺屋士活。
Because you have a child under eighteen, the court needs to see that proper parenting arrangements are already in place before it will grant the divorce.
我個仔平時同我住,佢爸爸隔個禮拜六日嚟接佢,呢排都幾穩定,冇乜爭拗。

You can apply online through the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia — a hearing usually isn't required unless there are unresolved parenting issues raised.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- federal circuit可以講「聯邦巡迴法院」，或者簡單講「Federal Circuit」保留英文都得，因為呢個名比較專門。
- family court講「家事法庭」或者「家庭法院」都得，意思清楚傳達到。
