Mr. Santos, I have your scan results here from Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and I'd like to talk through what they show today.
Sige po, doktor. Medyo kinakabahan po ako simula nang tinawagan n'yo ako para sa appointment na ito.
The scan shows a tumour in your liver measuring four centimetres, and further tests confirmed it's a type of liver cancer called hepatocellular carcinoma.
Naku po... nakakatakot pong marinig 'yan. Ano po ang mga gagawin natin ngayon, doktor? Meron pa po bang lunas?
If the cancer hasn't spread beyond the liver, we can consider surgery or a procedure called ablation, but we'll need one more scan to confirm this.
Kailan po ang susunod na scan, at gaano po katagal bago namin malaman kung kaya pa po itong operahan?
We can schedule that scan for next Thursday, and the results should be ready within three business days after that.
Salamat po. Kailangan ko po bang pumunta sa ibang doktor o specialist, o dito na lang po ako sa RPA magpapagamot?
