I'd like to talk with you today about your father's pain management, and whether he's ready to move to home-based palliative care now.
Salamat po. Nag-aalala po kami dahil parang mas madalas na siyang nahihirapan huminga. Gusto po namin siyang maging komportable hangga't maaari.
We're increasing his morphine to five milligrams every four hours, and he can have an extra dose if the pain breaks through unexpectedly.
Opo, naiintindihan ko po. Pero baka po ba siya mahilo o antukin nang sobra kapag tinaasan ninyo ang dose ng morphine?
Some drowsiness is normal at first, but it usually settles within a day or two, once his body slowly adjusts to the medication.
