Car Insurance Claim

Thank you for calling claims. I am sorry to hear about your accident. First, was anyone injured, and is your car safe to drive?

Glad everyone is safe. Can you tell me when and where it happened, and whether you exchanged details with the other driver?

That helps a lot. Since the other driver admitted fault, you may not need to pay your excess, once their insurer confirms liability.
那要等多久才能确认？我上班每天都要用车，可以先去修吗？
You can book the repair now at one of our approved repairers. If you need a hire car meanwhile, your policy covers part of the cost.
代步车太重要了。修车大概要几天？修理厂会直接跟你们结算吗？
Door and mirror repairs usually take three to five days, and yes, the repairer bills us directly, so you pay nothing upfront.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
