Hi, I'm Sarah, the triage nurse today. Can you tell me when your breathing difficulty started, and how severe it feels right now, on a scale of one to ten?
Do you have a history of asthma, and have you used your blue reliever puffer at all today before coming to the emergency department?
How many puffs have you taken so far, and did they help reduce your wheezing or tightness in your chest at all?
We'll give you four puffs of Ventolin through a spacer now, and monitor your oxygen levels closely for the next 15 minutes.
If your breathing doesn't improve after this treatment, we'll need to admit you to Westmead Hospital for further monitoring overnight.
Please make sure you always carry your puffer with you, and try to avoid known triggers like dust, smoke, or cold air exposure.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Nepali dialogues · All languages
