Full transcript
Good morning, I'm Sarah, the asthma nurse looking after you today. Can you tell me how your breathing, coughing, sleep, and appetite have been over the past week?
Do you notice your asthma symptoms getting worse with dust, cold air, cigarette smoke, or after physical exercise, especially in the mornings?
Can you tell me exactly how many times a day you use your blue reliever inhaler, and how many puffs each time?
If you don't currently have a written asthma action plan at home, we can work together to create one for you today.
I would like to refer you to a respiratory specialist at Westmead Hospital so they can run some additional lung and breathing tests.
Please try to book that specialist appointment within the next two weeks, and continue using your preventer inhaler every single day.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Nepali dialogues · All languages
