Booking the Australian Citizenship Test

Once your application is finalised, you'll need to log into your ImmiAccount, not myGov, to book your Australian citizenship test.

You'll need your passport, proof of Australian residence, and your Nepali citizenship certificate. If you don't have your original birth certificate, that's fine, don't worry.

That's correct. A birth certificate isn't required if you provide your citizenship certificate, as long as it clearly shows your full name and date of birth.

The test has 20 multiple-choice questions about Australian values, history and government, and you need to answer at least 15 correctly, which is 75 percent, to pass.

Yes, you can resit the test if you don't pass the first time, but you must wait at least 7 days before booking another attempt.

No, interpreters aren't permitted during the test itself. It's conducted entirely in English on a computer, and you'll need to complete it independently.

Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
