Hello, thank you for coming in today. I understand you're worried about your son's drug use. Can you tell me what's been happening recently?
ਜੀ, ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਈਸ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਰ ਨਾਲ ਘਰ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪੈਸੇ ਵੀ ਗਾਇਬ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਡਰ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।

There's a program called Odyssey House that specialises in youth drug rehabilitation. They offer counselling, family support, and sometimes residential treatment if needed.

Yes, it's a free public health service. Family members can attend support sessions together, though your son will need individual counselling as well.

If he's not ready yet, you can start attending the family support group alone. This often helps encourage the person to seek treatment later.
