Maternity Check-up: Glucose Test Scheduling
Midwife (speaking English) and Pregnant Patient (speaking Spanish) talk through “Maternity Check-up: Glucose Test Scheduling”. You interpret both ways — English into Spanish, and Spanish into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Good afternoon, Ms. Fernández. Let's check your blood pressure first, then talk about how you've been feeling since your last visit to Liverpool Hospital.
Buenas tardes, matrona.
At twenty-eight weeks, we usually schedule a glucose tolerance test to check for gestational diabetes. Yours is booked for this Thursday morning at the pathology clinic.
Entiendo.
You mustn't eat or drink anything except water for ten hours before the test, so please don't have breakfast that morning.
Thursday's visit is only for the blood test, not a full check-up. If your glucose results are normal, we won't need to see you again until thirty-two weeks.
If you notice reduced movements, severe headaches, or swelling that worsens quickly, call the clinic straight away — don't wait until your next appointment.
Gracias, matrona.
We'll discuss your full birth plan at the thirty-two week appointment, not this Thursday, since that visit is only for the glucose test.
