Thanks for coming in today, Mr Yoon. The nurse tells me your right eye's been red and sticky since Monday morning. Can you tell me how this started?
Is there any discharge when you wake up, and has your left eye been affected too? Do you wear contact lenses?
This looks like acute infective conjunctivitis, likely bacterial. It's quite contagious, so you'll need to avoid work and sharing towels or pillows with family.
You should stay off work for at least three days, until the discharge clears completely, and wash your hands often.
I'll prescribe antibiotic eye drops—use one drop in the affected eye four times daily for five days. Any Chemist Warehouse can fill this.
Yes, your daughter shouldn't attend daycare until there's no more discharge and her eyes look clear, usually about four to five days.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Korean dialogues · All languages
