Good afternoon, Mr Han. Your cataract surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital went smoothly, and your vision should keep improving over the next few days.
감사합니다, 선생님. 그런데 아직 시야가 조금 흐릿한데, 정상인가요?
That blurriness is normal right after surgery. You'll need to use the prescribed antibiotic eye drops to prevent infection while your eye heals.
네, 알겠습니다. 그런데 그 안약은 며칠 동안 넣어야 하나요? 그리고 언제부터 다시 운전을 해도 될까요?
Use the drops four times daily for fourteen days. Please don't drive until your follow-up appointment next Thursday, when we'll confirm your vision meets the legal driving standard.
알겠습니다. 그러면 수영장에 가는 것은 언제부터 괜찮을까요?
Avoid swimming pools and getting water directly in your eye for at least two weeks. If any redness or pain worsens, contact the clinic immediately.
알겠습니다. 혹시 통증이 있으면 어떤 약을 먹어도 되나요?
You can take paracetamol for discomfort, but please don't take aspirin, as it may increase bleeding risk after eye surgery.

You may return to light desk work after three days, but avoid heavy lifting or bending for two weeks to protect your healing eye.
