Online Order Never Arrived: Consumer Affairs Call
Consumer Affairs Officer (speaking English) and Customer (speaking Cantonese) talk through “Online Order Never Arrived: Consumer Affairs Call”. You interpret both ways — English into Cantonese, and Cantonese into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks so much for calling today — can you tell me exactly what happened with your online order, and when you originally placed it?
我喺網上買咗個攪拌機,俾咗一百八十九蚊,三個禮拜前落嘅單,而家都仲未收到。
Have you contacted the seller directly about the missing item, and do you have any tracking information from the courier?
我send咗兩次email俾賣家,都冇回覆。噉我查落去嗰個追蹤編號,話澳洲郵政都仲未收到個包裹。
Please keep copies of every message you've sent, plus the tracking details — these will support any complaint you later lodge.
如果佢一直都唔覆我,咁我可以點做啊?
If the seller doesn't respond, you can lodge a complaint with NSW Fair Trading, and separately ask your bank whether a dispute or chargeback is possible.
咁我要去邊度投訴啊?係咪要係網上填表,仲要交啲咩證明呀?
You can lodge it online through the NSW Fair Trading website, attaching your messages and the receipt; if it's unresolved, you may later apply to NCAT.
咁去NCAT要俾幾多錢啊?大概要等幾耐先至有得開庭?
NCAT usually charges a lodgement fee, and hearings are typically scheduled within a few weeks, though timing can vary depending on the individual case.
明白晒,多謝你。我會保留晒啲紀錄,再試多次聯絡賣家,如果佢仲係唔覆先至去投訴。
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- fair trading保留英文專有名詞講「Fair Trading」就得。
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Cantonese dialogues · All languages
