Thanks for coming in this afternoon, Ms Bernard. Could you please walk me through exactly what happened outside the pharmacy on Church Street, Ryde, last night?
Bien sûr. Vers dix-neuf heures quarante-cinq, j'étais garée devant la pharmacie de Church Street, à Ryde, quand une camionnette blanche a percuté l'arrière de ma voiture puis a filé sans s'arrêter.

J'ai seulement vu les trois premières lettres, B, T, R, et le conducteur portait une casquette noire, je crois. Je n'ai pas pu distinguer son visage.
Was anyone else nearby who might have witnessed the collision, even just briefly, from a window, balcony, or the street?

That event report number is sufficient on its own for your insurer; you won't need any further paperwork at all, unless they specifically request a certified copy later.
