Reporting a Home Theft to Insurance
Insurance Claims Officer (speaking English) and 客户 (speaking French) talk through “Reporting a Home Theft to Insurance”. You interpret both ways — English into French, and French into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks for calling NRMA Insurance—I understand your home in Wollongong was broken into last Thursday night. Can you talk me through what happened, please?
Have you already reported the break-in to New South Wales Police, and if so, could you give me their event reference number?
Could you please send me a full list of everything that was stolen, including any receipts, warranty cards or photos you might still have?
Since there's no receipt for the jewellery, we can still accept a valuation or photo, but the excess is four hundred dollars.
You can pay the four hundred dollar excess upfront yourself, or we can simply deduct it directly from your final settlement payout.
Yes, please keep the locksmith's invoice—NRMA will reimburse that cost separately once the claim is approved, usually within ten business days.

CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All French dialogues · All languages
