Managing Obesity: A Dietitian Consultation
Dietitian (speaking English) and Patient (speaking French) talk through “Managing Obesity: A Dietitian Consultation”. You interpret both ways — English into French, and French into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks for coming in today, Madame Girard. Your GP referred you here because your BMI has now reached thirty-four, which places you in the obese range, and that's affecting your joints.
We'll start by looking at your eating patterns and daily activity levels, then set some realistic goals together over the next few months, step by step.
I'd like to refer you to an exercise physiologist at Sunshine Hospital in Melbourne. There's currently about a six-week wait for the first available appointment.
This isn't about rapid weight loss; it's about building habits you can maintain long-term, even after the structured program officially ends next year.
If diet and exercise alone don't bring your blood pressure down within three months, we can discuss medication options together at your next review.
Let's book your next review for four weeks from now, and I'll upload the exercise physiologist referral to your file this afternoon.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All French dialogues · All languages
