Mental Health Intake Assessment
Intake Worker (speaking English) and 客户 (speaking French) talk through “Mental Health Intake Assessment”. You interpret both ways — English into French, and French into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thank you for coming in today, Ms. Lefebvre. Can you tell me a little about how you've been feeling over the past three weeks or so?
Depuis environ trois semaines, je me sens très anxieuse, j'ai du mal à me concentrer au travail, et je pleure facilement, même pour des petites choses.
How long has this been going on, and roughly how many hours of sleep are you getting most nights?
Do you have family or friends you can talk to about this, and have you had any thoughts recently of harming yourself at all?
I'd like to refer you to a psychologist at headspace Bankstown, under a mental health care plan arranged through your GP.
Under this plan you may be eligible for up to ten subsidised sessions this year, provided your GP reviews your progress after six visits and refers you again.
If you ever feel unsafe before your next appointment, Lifeline is available on 13 11 14, any time, day or night.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All French dialogues · All languages
