Reporting a Home Theft to NRMA Insurance
Claims Officer (speaking English) and 客户 (speaking Korean) talk through “Reporting a Home Theft to NRMA Insurance”. You interpret both ways — English into Korean, and Korean into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thank you for calling NRMA claims. Could you tell me exactly what was stolen and when you first noticed the break-in at your home?
지난 목요일 밤에 쿠지에 있는 제 아파트에 도둑이 들어서 노트북이랑 목걸이를 가져갔어요. 오늘 아침에 일어나서 알았어요.
Did you report the incident to New South Wales Police already? I'll need the event number for our file, please.
네, 신고했어요. 사건 번호는 이일이삼사오육칠팔번이고, 경찰이 금요일 아침에 와서 현장을 확인했어요.
An assessor will need to inspect your unit before we proceed further. Do you have receipts or photos proving you owned the stolen items?
노트북 영수증은 있는데, 목걸이는 오래돼서 영수증이 없어요. 그래도 보상받을 수 있을까요?
Without a receipt, we may value the jewellery at current market price. There's also a five hundred dollar excess before we finalise payment.
저는 평일에는 계속 일해서 시간이 안 돼요. 혹시 감정사가 주말에 방문할 수 있을까요?
Saturday the eighteenth works well for our assessor, around nine in the morning. Please don't move or clean anything before the inspection happens.
네, 토요일 아침 아홉시 좋아요. 그런데 수리나 보상이 끝나기까지 기간이 얼마나 걸릴지 알 수 있을까요?
Processing time can vary depending on what the assessor finds, so I can't promise an exact date. We'll update you through the myNRMA app if anything else is needed.
알겠습니다. 도둑맞은 물건들은 그대로 두고 토요일까지 기다릴게요. 감사합니다.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
- event number'사건 번호' 또는 '이벤트 번호'라고 번역하면 된다.
- excess'자기부담금'이라고 번역하면 정확하다.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Korean dialogues · All languages
