Congratulations on your new baby. I'm here from the family support service to check how you and your baby are settling in together at home this week.

Has the birth been registered yet? You can register online through the NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM), usually within sixty days of your baby's birth date.
अझै दर्ता गरेको छैन। मलाई अनलाइन फारम भर्न अलि गाह्रो लाग्छ, अंग्रेजीमा राम्रोसँग बुझ्दिन। कसरी गर्ने हो साथ दिनुहुन्छ?

Once the registration is finalised, Medicare enrolment for your baby usually happens automatically, so they'll be covered for doctor visits within a few weeks.

A maternal child health nurse will visit you at home soon to check your baby's weight, feeding routine, and general development progress.

No special preparation is needed, just make sure your baby is awake and recently fed if possible, so the check-up goes smoothly for everyone.
