Tell me what's been going on with your eye, and when exactly did the symptoms start, Mrs. Yousefi?
سلام دکتر، از دیشب چشم راستم قرمز شده و صبح که بیدار شدم پر از ترشحات زرد بود. کمی هم خارش دارد.
Is there any pain, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light? Has only one eye been affected, or did it spread to both?
نه، درد یا تاری دید ندارم، فقط کمی به نور حساس شدم. اول چشم راستم شروع شد ولی از دیروز چشم چپم هم همینطور شد و صبحها پلکهایم به هم میچسبند.
This looks like acute infective conjunctivitis, likely bacterial given the yellow discharge. It's contagious but usually clears within seven to ten days.
متوجه شدم دکتر. آیا قطره لازم دارم؟ نگرانم چون دو تا بچه کوچک در خانه دارم و میترسم به آنها هم سرایت کند.
I'll prescribe antibiotic eye drops, to be used four times daily for five days. Please wash your hands often and avoid sharing towels or pillows with family.

Since you work in childcare, you shouldn't return until the discharge has completely stopped, usually about forty-eight hours after starting the drops.
