Good afternoon, I'm the pre-admission nurse coordinating your care today. Before your gallbladder surgery, we need to confirm your fasting and medication instructions carefully.
හරි, ස්තුතියි. නමුත් මට දියවැඩියාව තියෙනවා, ඒ නිසා ආහාර නවත්වන නිශ්චිත වේලාව මට දැනගන්න ඕන කියලා හිතුනා.
You must stop eating any solid food six hours before your operation on Thursday morning. This rule applies to everything except small sips of plain water.
ජලය බොන්න පුළුවන් කොපමණ වේලාවක් දක්වා ද? මගේ කට වියළිලා දැනුනොත් මොකද කරන්නේ?
You can drink clear fluids like water or weak tea until two hours before surgery, then absolutely nothing at all, not even water.

Please skip your morning insulin dose on the day of surgery, but do bring your glucose meter and any regular tablets with you.
