Mr. Nassar, thank you for coming in today. Your MRI shows a six-centimetre tumour in the right lobe of your liver, near the bile duct.

We recommend a procedure called chemoembolization, where we block the blood supply feeding the tumour. This would take place at Concord Repatriation General Hospital.
فهمت يا دكتور. لكن ما هي المخاطر المحتملة لهذا الإجراء؟ هل سأتألم كثيراً بعده؟
The main risks are fever, nausea and mild pain near the liver. Unless your bilirubin level is too high, you should tolerate the procedure well.

You'll stay in hospital for two nights after the procedure, then come back this Thursday for a follow-up scan and blood tests.
