Thanks for coming in, Mrs. Bakker. You're now thirty-two weeks pregnant — how have you been feeling since your last visit two weeks ago?
Best goed, denk ik, maar de laatste paar dagen heb ik wat hoofdpijn en mijn enkels zijn wat opgezwollen.
Have you noticed any blurred vision, severe headaches, or pain just under your ribs? Those symptoms, if present, could indicate high blood pressure.
Nee, geen wazig zicht, maar soms voel ik wel een beetje druk aan de rechterkant, onder mijn ribben.
I'll check your blood pressure now, listen to the baby's heartbeat, and send a urine sample to pathology here at Royal Hospital for Women.
