Thanks for coming in today. Can you tell me where exactly your back is hurting, how it started, and whether the pain radiates down your legs?
Goedemorgen, mevrouw.
How long have you had this pain, and on a scale of one to ten, how bad is it right now, especially in the mornings?
Does your job involve heavy lifting or long periods of sitting? Does the pain get worse with movement or improve with rest?
I'd like to start you on some gentle stretching exercises and book you in for two sessions a week here at our Bondi Junction physiotherapy clinic.
If there's no improvement after two weeks, I'll refer you to a specialist at St Vincent's Hospital for a more thorough assessment of your spine.
Try applying an ice pack for fifteen minutes twice daily, and please don't lift anything heavier than five kilograms until your next appointment.
