Thanks for coming in today, Mr. Koskinen. Can you tell me what's been troubling your ear, and how long you've noticed it?

Have you been swimming recently, or do you regularly use cotton buds to clean inside your ears at home?

Please stop using cotton buds — they can actually push the wax deeper and cause blockages like this one. I'll examine your ear canal now with an otoscope.
