Mr. Alvarez's CT scan shows a small subdural haematoma, about six millimetres, near the right frontal lobe. He's stable, but we're keeping him for observation overnight.

Paracetamol is fine for the headache, but he must avoid aspirin or ibuprofen, since they increase bleeding risk. Call us immediately if he vomits or becomes confused.

He shouldn't return to work until a doctor confirms it's safe, usually at least ten days, and no driving until then either.
