Thanks for coming in, Mrs Lefèvre. Your GP referred you here through a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan — how have you been feeling since we last met, two weeks ago?
Franchement, ce n'est pas facile. Je dors très mal, je me réveille vers trois heures du matin et je n'arrive plus à me rendormir. Le travail me pèse énormément en ce moment.
Have you spoken with your manager about this stress, or does your workplace not offer any support at all currently?
Non, mon responsable ne comprend pas vraiment. Il n'y a pas de programme d'aide aux employés dans notre entreprise, et je me sens complètement isolée face à tout ça.
Under this Medicare plan you're entitled to ten sessions this calendar year. Have you tried any strategies yet to manage the stress, like relaxation or exercise?

Counselling isn't medication, but if things don't improve after four sessions, I'll refer you back to your GP for a full review.
