Thanks for coming in today, Mr Lefebvre. Before we start, can you tell me how you've been feeling over the past fortnight, especially your mood and energy levels?
Depuis environ deux semaines, je me sens très fatigué, je n'ai plus goût à rien, et j'ai du mal à dormir la nuit.

Based on what you've described, this sounds like mild to moderate depression. I'd like to refer you to a psychologist and set up a mental health treatment plan through Medicare.
D'accord, merci docteur. Est-ce que cela va coûter cher, et combien de séances puis-je avoir avec le psychologue ?
The plan initially covers six sessions, and Medicare provides a partial rebate for each visit, though there might still be a small gap payment depending on the psychologist.
Je comprends. Et si mon état ne s'améliore pas, devrai-je prendre des médicaments ?
We could also consider an antidepressant, but only if therapy alone isn't helping enough after several weeks, so let's monitor things first.
