Mr Sharma, thanks for coming in. Your file notes chest pain over the past few weeks — can you describe when it started and what it feels like?
Does the pain happen only when you walk or exert yourself, or does it also occur when you're resting?
Have you been prescribed a GTN spray, and does it relieve the pain within a few minutes when you use it?
This sounds like stable angina, caused by reduced blood flow to your heart during physical activity. It's generally manageable with medication and rest, but you must not ignore worsening symptoms.
If the pain lasts more than ten minutes, or the spray doesn't help within that time, call triple zero immediately — it could be a heart attack.
I'll refer you to a cardiologist at Westmead Hospital for further tests, including an ECG, and please continue your current medication until your appointment.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.
