Thank you for coming in today. After three serious incidents this term, the school has decided to expel your son, effective from next Monday.

I understand this is difficult. The decision cannot be reversed immediately, but you have the right to lodge a formal appeal with the Department of Education.

Please contact the Department of Education NSW directly to lodge your appeal. They will confirm the appeal timeframe and review the case fairly.

If the appeal is unsuccessful, the Department of Education will help arrange placement at another school. We can support that transition.
