Thank you for coming into our office today. I have your file here regarding the electrician who repaired your home's wiring. What happened, please?
Thank you for explaining that. Could you tell me the exact date the work was done, and how much you paid him in total?
After you noticed the fault, did you contact the electrician directly, and did he agree to come back and fix the faulty wiring?
Since he holds an electrical licence but refused to repair his own faulty work, you can lodge this complaint with NSW Fair Trading.
If he doesn't respond or repair the wiring within a reasonable time, Fair Trading can investigate and may order a refund or repair.
Please complete this complaint form, attach your receipt showing the $850 payment, and I will lodge everything with Fair Trading today.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.
