Thank you for coming in today. Under Australian law, you may use reasonable force to defend yourself if you genuinely feared harm. Can you tell me exactly what happened that night?
Did you believe your life or safety was at serious risk at that moment? Also, did anyone else witness the incident, or was there any CCTV nearby?
That's helpful. The court will consider whether your response was proportionate to the threat. I will request the CCTV footage from Legal Aid NSW's investigator this week.
The footage alone may be sufficient if it's clear, but witness statements strengthen your case. I need any witness contact details within 48 hours.
Good. Your matter is listed at the Local Court of New South Wales next Tuesday. Please arrive by 9:30 am with any documents you have.
You cannot skip the hearing without approval; if you don't attend, the court may issue a warrant for your arrest. I can request an adjournment beforehand.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Nepali dialogues · All languages
