Thanks so much for coming in today - can you tell me how long your daughter's diarrhoea has been going on?
سلام دکتر، از سه روز پیش این مشکل شروع شده. مدفوعش کاملاً آبکی است و روز اول هم چند بار استفراغ کرد، ولی الان استفراغ نداره.
Is she drinking normally, and how many wet nappies has she had since yesterday? Any fever or vomiting as well?
امروز فقط دو بار پوشکش خیس شده و خیلی کم آب میخوره. تب نداره ولی خیلی بیحاله و خوابش زیاد شده.
Only two wet nappies since yesterday concerns me a little. Try small sips of Hydralyte every ten minutes. If she becomes lethargic or refuses fluids, take her straight to Bankstown Hospital.
همسایهمون گفت میتونیم بهش ایمودیوم بدیم تا زودتر خوب بشه. این دارو براش مناسبه؟
No, we don't give anti-diarrhoeal medicines like Imodium to children under twelve - they can actually make things worse for little ones.

Offer plain foods like rice, toast, and banana, and avoid dairy and juice for now. If she's still breastfeeding, keep that going as normal.
