Good morning, Mrs Kaur. I understand you'd like to discuss surgery to revise the scar on your arm from your car accident last year. Can you tell me more?
ਹਾਂਜੀ ਡਾਕਟਰ, ਇਹ ਦਾਗ਼ ਮੇਰੀ ਬਾਂਹ 'ਤੇ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਇਹ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਦਿਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
If there is no active infection, we can perform a scar revision under local or general anaesthesia, usually taking about ninety minutes.

The surgery will take place at Westmead Hospital next Tuesday at 7am, and you'll need to fast for six hours beforehand.

Full healing usually takes about six weeks, and we'll schedule a follow-up appointment two weeks after your surgery to check progress.
