Good afternoon, thanks for coming in. Can you tell me how long your daughter has had diarrhoea, and whether she's had any vomiting?
දවස් තුනක් තිස්සේ ඇගේ බඩේ අමාරුව තියෙනවා. වමනය නම් නැහැ, ඒත් වතුර වගේ මළපහ නිතරම යනවා.
Is she still drinking fluids well, and have you noticed a dry mouth, sunken eyes, or fewer wet nappies than usual since yesterday?
ඇය වතුර ටිකක් විතරයි බොන්නේ, කට එකේ වියළිකමක් තියෙනවා, උදේ ඉඳලා තෙත් නැප්කින් සංඛ්යාවත් අඩුයි.
Did she eat anything unusual recently, perhaps from a takeaway shop, or chicken from Coles that maybe wasn't stored properly overnight?

I'd recommend giving her an oral rehydration solution regularly throughout the day. If she becomes drowsy or can't keep fluids down, take her to Nepean Hospital immediately.

Please don't give her any over-the-counter anti-diarrhoeal medicine unless a doctor prescribes it; it's generally not recommended for children under six years old.

She'll need to stay home from daycare until at least 24 hours have passed after her last episode of diarrhoea or vomiting.
