Mr. Perera, your blood pressure reading today is one fifty over ninety-five, higher than last Thursday's check-up at Bankstown Medical Centre.
Stopping medication without symptoms is risky; hypertension often has no warning signs. Have you been monitoring your salt intake or exercising regularly this month?
I'd like you to restart your medication daily and reduce salt intake. Let's book a follow-up in four weeks to recheck your blood pressure.
If you feel dizzy, don't stop the medication suddenly—please contact the clinic first. We can adjust the dose safely if needed, without any risk.
Try to limit processed foods and added salt, following current Heart Foundation guidelines. Fresh vegetables, fruit and lean protein are much better choices.
Aim for thirty minutes of moderate exercise most days, like brisk walking. The nurse will call to remind you before your next appointment.
