Mental Health Follow-Up Appointment
Mental Health Nurse (speaking English) and Patient (speaking Sinhala) talk through “Mental Health Follow-Up Appointment”. You interpret both ways — English into Sinhala, and Sinhala into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks for coming in, Mr. Perera. How have you been feeling since our last session two weeks ago, especially with your sleep and anxiety?
I understand. Sertraline can cause mild side effects like nausea or dizziness at first, but they usually settle within two weeks. Are you taking it at the same time each day?
That's helpful to know. I'll book you with the psychiatrist at St Vincent's Hospital in three weeks for a full review of your medication.
Don't worry, the clinic bulk-bills through Medicare, so there's no out-of-pocket cost for that appointment or your regular check-ups here.
You could also try Beyond Blue's online forums, or call Lifeline on 13 11 14 anytime if things feel overwhelming at night.
Yes, we can arrange a family session if you'd like some support. Let's book your next appointment for two weeks from today.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Sinhala dialogues · All languages
