Employment: Registering with a Recruitment Agency
Recruitment Agent (speaking English) and 求职者 (speaking Spanish) talk through “Employment: Registering with a Recruitment Agency”. You interpret both ways — English into Spanish, and Spanish into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks for coming in today, Mr. Alvarado. I've got a warehouse role at Bunnings Warehouse in Marrickville that might suit your background. Can you tell me about your recent work experience?
That's useful experience, thank you. Do you hold a current forklift licence, or only manual handling experience? Also, how many hours per week are you available to work?
The role pays $27.80 an hour, plus penalty rates on weekends. Training for the forklift licence is available, but you won't start on the floor until it's completed.
Entiendo.
The course starts next Thursday at TAFE NSW in Ultimo. Before we confirm, I'll need to verify your visa status shows full working rights.
Good. I'll also need two recent references. If you don't have Australian referees, international contacts are fine, as long as we can reach them by phone.
Great, please bring your passport and visa grant letter to Thursday's course. I'll upload your file to our recruitment portal today.
Terms in this dialogue that cost marks
CCL is marked on information transferred. These Australian terms have no direct word in most test languages — get one wrong and the segment's information is gone.
Practise it
Reading a transcript is not interpreting. The free daily dialogue on this site plays each segment at native speed, records you, and marks the information you transferred against the same categories examiners use — omissions, distortions, insertions — so you know where the marks went.

How the test works
Practice dialogue written to the CCL specification (two speakers, segments of 35 words or fewer, about 300 words). It is a practice text, not a NAATI test paper, and the AI score is this site's estimate, not a NAATI result. All Spanish dialogues · All languages
