Diarrhoea in a Child: GP Consultation
GP (speaking English) and Mother (speaking Urdu) talk through “Diarrhoea in a Child: GP Consultation”. You interpret both ways — English into Urdu, and Urdu into English — one segment at a time, exactly as in the CCL test.

Thanks for bringing Arham in today, Mrs Khan. Can you tell me how long he's had diarrhoea and how many times he's gone today?
Has he been drinking fluids normally, or is he refusing to eat and drink, and has he vomited or had a fever at all?
If the diarrhoea continues past 48 hours, or he becomes very lethargic or dehydrated, we'll refer him to Sydney Children's Hospital for review.
Give him small sips of oral rehydration solution every 15 minutes, not large amounts at once, to avoid triggering further vomiting or discomfort.
Does he have a fever, vomiting, or any blood in his stool that you've noticed since yesterday afternoon, or any signs of a rash?
Keep him home from school until he's had no symptoms for at least 24 hours, and bring him back sooner if he worsens.
