Good afternoon, Mrs Ivanova. You're now thirty-two weeks along — how have you been feeling since your last visit, and any new symptoms to mention today?

Swelling can be quite common at this stage of pregnancy, but let's check your blood pressure now, just to rule out anything concerning.

We also need to arrange your glucose tolerance test, ideally sometime within the next week, so we can check for gestational diabetes early.

Yes, you'll need to fast beforehand — no food for at least eight hours, although drinking plain water is perfectly fine.
