Good morning, Mr Sharma. I'm Sarah, the dietitian here at the clinic. I'd like to discuss your weight and overall health today. How long have you been worried about this lately?
Can you tell me about your typical daily meals, snacks, and how often you manage to exercise each week?
Your BMI is currently 32, which falls into the obese range, and it increases your risk of diabetes, heart disease, and joint problems.
I'd recommend joining the Get Healthy NSW coaching service, which provides free phone support for diet and exercise over a six-month period.
It won't cost you anything, as long as you're a NSW resident who meets the health eligibility criteria and can commit to regular calls.
Let's book a follow-up appointment in six weeks to check your progress and adjust your eating and exercise plan if needed.
